About the Author, Dave Goulson
Dave Goulson is a Professor of Biology at the University of Sussex specializing in the ecology and conservation of insects, particularly bumblebees. He is the author of several charming and informative books, including A Sting in the Tale: My Adventures with Bumblebees (2014), A Buzz in the Meadow (2015), and Bee Quest (2018). He has published more than 300 scientific articles on the ecology and conservation of bumblebees and other insects, and he founded the Bumblebee Conservation Trust in 2006, a charity that aims to reverse the decline in the bumblebee population.

His latest book, Silent Earth, is scheduled for release in the USA on September 28. Goulson shows us how we can all take simple steps to encourage insects and counter their destruction.
